How to find camps & activities
Summer, afterschool, weekends, and no-school days — a simple path from “we need coverage” to a shortlist you trust.
1. Decide what you need
- Ages of each child
- Dates or weeks you must cover
- Neighborhoods / max commute
- Budget and whether you need full days vs a few hours
2. Pick the right starting point
- Summer camps — week-long or multi-week programs. Search camps or summer overview.
- School closure / break days — teacher workdays, holidays, spring break. Closure hub or search no-school programs.
- Afterschool — enrichment after the school day. Search afterschool.
- Weekend — Saturday/Sunday options. Search weekend.
3. Filter, then open a few details
On Search, use activity type, city, age, and category. On each camp page, check hours, dates, location, and how booking works for that provider.
City shortcuts: Portland, Beaverton, Hillsboro, Lake Oswego.
4. Shortlist and share
Save favorites or use kid profiles so a co-parent can see the same options. When you’re ready, follow the booking path shown on the camp (Kamp booking, vendor site, or self-report).
FAQ
Do I need an account to browse?
You can explore search without signing in. An account unlocks kid profiles, favorites, calendar, and booking status.
Is every camp bookable on Kamp?
Not always. Some listings send you to the vendor site; others support Kamp registration. The camp detail page shows what’s available for that program.
