What is Kamp?
Kamp helps Portland-area parents find and compare local camps and kids' activities, plan around school schedules, and get from search to a booking path that fits their family.
Do I need an account to browse activities?
No. You can explore search and discovery pages without signing in. An account unlocks kid profiles, favorites, compare, calendar, and booking status.
What kinds of activities can I find?
Summer camps, afterschool programs, weekend activities, holiday and break care, and no-school / school closure day programs in the Portland metro area.
Can I book every camp directly on Kamp?
Not always. Some listings send you to the provider's site; others support Kamp registration or interest. Each camp detail page shows the booking path available for that program.
How do I find coverage for school closure days?
Start with the Portland school closure days hub for major 2026–27 windows, then browse no-school camps and filter by age and location in search. Always re-confirm dates with your district.
Is Kamp free for parents?
Yes. Signing up and searching is free. Program fees are set by each provider.
What is Kamp Score?
Kamp Score is a 0–100 trust signal Kamp calculates from information we already have on a listing: whether the provider is Kamp-verified (up to 40 points), Google rating when available (up to 35), Google review volume (up to 15), and listing completeness such as website, photo, ages, and dates (up to 10). Verified badges and Google star ratings stay visible on their own — Score does not replace them. A higher score means stronger signals in those categories, not a guarantee of program quality.
Is Kamp Score the same as parent reviews on Kamp?
No. Kamp Score v0 does not use parent reviews written on Kamp. When Google rating or review count is available, those public Google signals can contribute to the score. Kamp may add its own parent reviews later; until then, treat Score as a verification and listing-readiness check, not as testimonials.

Kamp currently focuses on the Portland, Oregon metropolitan area, including nearby cities such as Beaverton, Hillsboro, Tigard/Tualatin, Lake Oswego, and North Clackamas.
